CYNTHIA TRUE is a writer, editor, and producer with a background in print journalism and television. She’s currently producing and co-hosting a six-episode documentary-style podcast about Liz Tilberis, the forgotten queen of fashion, for release in Spring 2024. Cynthia has created and developed several TV shows, including Nickelodeon’s The Mighty B!, which she executive produced for two seasons and was Emmy-nominated. She also wrote American Scream: The Bill Hicks Story (HarperCollins; MacMillan UK), which has sold more than 800,000 copies worldwide. She was previously a reporter who wrote for Rolling Stone, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Time Out NY, and Texas Monthly.
