CYNTHIA TRUE is a journalist, author, TV writer, and producer. She’s the writer, co-host, and co-producer of a six-episode pod, Blow-Up: When Liz Tilberis Transformed Bazaar, about fashion’s forgotten queen, for release on September 12, 2024. Cynthia has created and developed several TV shows, including Nickelodeon’s The Mighty B!, which she executive produced for two seasons and was Emmy-nominated. She also wrote American Scream: The Bill Hicks Story (HarperCollins; MacMillan UK), which has sold more than 800,000 copies worldwide. She was previously a reporter who wrote for Rolling Stone, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Time Out NY, and Texas Monthly.
